Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette Peters (born Bernadette lazzara on February 28 1948) is an American actor, singer, and children's author who hails born in Ozone Park Queens New York . In her five decades of professional career, she has appeared on stage and in the theatre and also in solo performances and recordings. She's received seven Tony Awards nominations, two of which she was awarded, and the other eight Drama Desk Awards. She has won Grammy Awards for four of her Broadway cast albums. Peters began her professional career as an actor on stage when she was a young teenager. Then she moved on to film and television during the 1970s. Her early stage performances and also for her TV appearances, including the Carol Burnett Show The Muppet Show and Annie. The actress returned to Broadway during the 1980s where she became the most well-known Broadway actor for the next 30 years. Her singles have been released as well as several casts albums and performs regularly in as a solo act in concert. Peters is still working in television and film in which she was nominated 3 times to win Emmy Awards. She has been awarded a Golden Globe Award.
