Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor throughout his career. The actor is best known for the roles he performed in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". From the time he was at college Christopher Meloni was fascinated by the world of acting. He pursued a degree in acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active on TV and film and on stage, his appearances on small screens are what brought him much recognition. This is not surprising since he has been able grab people's attention with his characters who are on either side of the law. In his very first TV show, he was the role of a serial killer. Later he portrayed the character of an NYPD investigator. Multiple times he was recognized for his work in the highly coveted Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His piercing blue eyes his eyes are thought as the most captivating aspect of his appearance. These have been used to portray rough characters and give them charisma. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured the actor.
